Swimming

Riverside Ice & Leisure Centre offers a 33m pool, as well as a smaller learners pool and seasonal outdoor pool. It is also available for swimming lessons and pool parties.

The centre operates under ISRM recommendations and adheres to the following adult-to-child ratios for swimming and pool parties:

a) Children under 8 years - one adult (over 16 years old) can accompany two children, providing at least one child is aged 5 years plus
b) Children under 5 years - children must be accompanied on a one-to-one basis by an adult (over 16 years old).
