Changing the Text Size and Display

The text on this website is displayed in a clear 'sans serif' font, to make it easy to read. However some users may want to increase the size at which the text is displayed. This can be done really easily by clicking on the 'Change text size' icon on the right of the screen. Simply click on the 'A+' to make it bigger.

Many browsers also allow you to change the text size and display of the pages further - it depends which browser you are using.  'My Web My Way' from the BBC explains the many ways you can customise your experience whatever system you are using, including changing the browser, computer, keyboard and mouse settings.  For more information, please visit My Web My Way

Access Keys

Some web users prefer to use access keys rather than use a mouse to navigate round the site. Access keys have therefore been set up for this website and can be used as follows.

How you use the access keys depends on which operating system you use:

• Using Windows: if the browser is Mozilla etc, hold down the 'Alt' key and press the assigned key on the keyboard; if the browser is Internet Explorer, do the same as Mozilla, but also press the 'enter' key to navigate to a page.
• Using a Mac: hold down the left-hand 'Control' and press the assigned key on the keyboard. (eg. Control-1 navigates to the home page.)
