Chelmsford Borough Council is committed to a number of major initiatives to build links with the community and to help young people. An action plan for young people was therefore developed to ensure that local services provided by the Council and its partners meet the needs of young people.

We encourage young people to have a voice by participating in local Youth Councils and by registering to vote when they are 18. The Council also provides a range of activities for young people, including sports courses and performing arts classes.

• One half price session at a museum workshop or summer activity week event
