As well as all the old favourites, there is a Bright Sparks gallery devoted to Chelmsford's unique industrial heritage,the Essex Regiment Museum, an Essex Yeomanry display, community life galleries, art displays and a large temporary exhibition space.

The museum is closed on Fridays during school term time - except for booked school visits and functions. It will be open as usual during half terms and school holidays. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
