On Saturday 10 September 2011, the open-air cinema event Be Moved took place in South Woodham Ferrers and presented the opportunity for individuals, families, friends and couples to get involved in a FREE celebration of art, sport and film. With less than a year to go before London 2012, the cultural celebrations of art and sport continued with 'Be Moved.' Visitors were invited to visit, try a new sport or art activity and catch a free movie too! Approximately 500 people braved the Autumn weather throughout the day.
