The Fling's tented village was full of intriguing entertainment, whether it was for sitting back and watching, or getting stuck in.
To get us all truly in the spirit for the festival of assorted amusements, this year we treated you all to A Bit on the Side - The Fling - A Bit on the Side - get it!?!
The idea behind The Fling 2008 was to offer a new approach to entertainment in the area - something bespoke for Essex, not just Chelmsford. We aimed for last year's event in Central Park to be the spark of something very special.
