You can find Galleywood Common on the B1007 Stock Road. The Common covers 47 hectares and was registered as Common Land under the Commons Registration Act 1965. Galleywood Common became a Local Nature Reserve in 1993.To see a map showing its location please click on the Parks and Green Spaces leaflet to the right of this page. The Common once home to Chelmsford Race Course has areas of heathland, mire, grassland, woodland and ponds. Park features include: - 3 car parks
