Property Search The Property Search allows you to search for property details using a combination of property name, number, postcode and street. Using this facility will allow you to view some of the planning history for that property (generally speaking from 1974). Some documents associated with these applications may also be available to view. Please note that this facility does not replace a land charges search, which provides a comprehensive history of the property or site. It is possible to research the full history yourself by visiting our reception area. If you would like to visit reception to research a property history please give us at least 24 hours notice so that we can ensure that the records are available and that a computer or microfiche terminal is booked for your use. To make this request you can submit the online Planning Property History Visit Request Form or download the paper form here Planning Property History Request (PH1) [88kb] and either hand it in at reception or post to: Planning & Development Management Directorate for Sustainable Communities P.O. Box 7544 Civic Centre Duke Street Chelmsford Essex CM1 1XP or email to planning.reception@chelmsford.gov.uk
