Project Support Scheme

The Leisure, Cultural & Parks Project Support scheme is a small community scheme aimed at local organisations and individuals based (or working mainly) in the Borough of Chelmsford.

The aims of the scheme are to:

  • extend access and participation and encourage more people to become involved in local groups and projects
  • support activities that aim to be open and accessible to everyone who wishes to take part
  • increase skills and creativity by supporting activities that help to develop people and organisations, encourage talent and raise standards
  • improve the quality of life by supporting local projects that increase people's opportunities, environment or local facilities through voluntary action, or local projects and events

What Does The Scheme Do

In addition to financial support, practical advice and promotional assistance are also available:

Practical Help and Advice

If you are relying on the support of your local community to make your project a success, you may be keen to benefit from the promotional support Chelmsford Borough Council can offer. This may include help with the design of your publicity material and advertisements or inclusion of your project in our Internet diaries.
