Chelmsford Borough Council is committed to informing and motivating residents both young and old to recycle their waste. The Council provides a comprehensive kerbside recycling scheme, and the amount of waste going to landfill is being reduced. Lots more information is provided here about what can be recycled and how. Chelmsford Borough Council is also responsible for refuse collections within the borough. We understand that this is important to our residents and we strive to provide a quality service. Weekly refuse collections are made in addition to the recycling service.
