Families in Focus

This fun activity club is run by Families in Focus and is held most Saturdays between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.

Activities include weekly trampoline coaching, and monthly gymnastics coaching, as well as a variety of play activities for children with accessible needs.

Set in an airy, secure and friendly environment for the children, this session offers parents, friends, family and carers somewhere to relax, talk to other parents or get involved in activities with the children.

These sessions run every Saturday from 10am to 12pm.

Members participate in individual and team sports, developing skills and discipline that boosts their self-esteem.

Both wheelchair and non wheelchair users are encouraged to join in all activities including athletics, badminton, basketball, bowls, cricket, curling, football, hockey, table tennis, volleyball plus much more! 

Care is taken to encourage each individual to reach their potential, whilst appreciating the frustrations that these young people so often experience. 

The club primarily provides sporting opportunities for physically disabled young people between the ages of 8 to 21 years.

SWFLC offer unstructured swim sessions for those with accessible needs to come and enjoy the water. They run every Tuesday from 10.45am to 12pm in the main pool.

Carers are welcome to join and will swim for free.

No advanced booking necessary; please arrive at the centre for the session and pay on the day.

Our Heart and Sole walks offer a range of different routes, with many suitable for people with accessibility needs.

The Play in the Park sessions run at multiple community venues during the Easter and summer school holidays, for children aged between three and 11. Our sessions are suitable for all, including those with accessible needs.

With You in Mind sessions take place at CSAC and offer inclusive activity sessions for people who want to improve their confidence, wellbeing and mental health. Our team of Activity Coordinators and Mental Health First Aiders will support you at each session, and your first session is free.
