Chelmsford Showcase for Business 2013
Chelmsford's Premier Business Event!
The Chelmsford City Showcase for Business is now a major feature in the Chelmsford Business world’s diary. It is normally held annually in November during Global Entrepreneurship week (GEW). Global Entrepreneurship Week is a large international campaign to promote entrepreneurship and is a vital part of making the UK more entrepreneurial, encouraging more people to start up businesses. In 2012 the Showcase was recognised as a High Impact GEW UK event.
The Showcase is hosted and organised by Chelmsford City Council’s Inward Investment, Economy & Growth team in partnership with the Chelmsford Business Forum. It is designed to demonstrate the extent of business support and the range of commercial opportunities available.
The day provides you with valuable business advice and guidance including free seminars and exhibitors who offer a range of support and ideas. Throughout the day there are opportunities to network with fellow business people, choose from eight inspirational seminars and visit a comprehensive business exhibition.
The day starts with a breakfast business briefing (7.30 for 8.00am) with guest speakers Phil Eckersley, the Bank of England’s Agent for the SE & East Anglia and Brooks Newmark MP the Government’s Small Business Ambassador for the East.
The Mayor of Chelmsford Cllr Trevor Miller will officially open the exhibition and the rest of the day’s programme at 9.30am. There will be 41 exhibitors and a series of eight seminars running throughout the day until 5.00pm. Details of the seminars are on the registration form.
Registration to the Showcase and in particular the seminars and events is advisable to avoid disappointment.
